My name is PvR. And I am going to write a couple of things about me here on this page.

I am a Christian: That means I accepted Jesus Christ as my savior who died on the cross and 3 days later rose from the grave. It also means that my lifestyle is different from most people. I am a member at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Simpsonville and love the preaching, music and people there.
Do I force my "religion" unto other people? Not at all because accepting Christ as your savior is a personal decision and something I can't do for you. Do I hate or look down at other people who aren't christians? No, I am a sinner just like every one else so I don't see myself being better than anyone else. God did not create me to judge people! God created me to glorify Him by showing His love to other people. So my mission as a Christian is to glorify God in everything that I do.

I am Dutch: Well technically I am half American (mom) and half Dutch (dad) and I do have dual citizenship but for the most part I consider myself Dutch. I grew up in The Netherlands (Holland) for the first 18 years of my life. When I turned 18 I decided to go to BJU and so I am still on that mission to finish school. I would like to go back to Holland once I am done with school and start ministring to people by helping out in a local church (My brother is going to start planting churches there) while working full time and be a witness through that.

I am a student: I attend Bob Jones University. I am a senior and have one year left of school. I sat out for a year but I will take one summer course and come back in the fall to finish Lord willing in two semesters. I only have 26 credits left so it's not going to be a heavy load, although I will be working almost full time! I love BJU and the strict rules there don't really bother me. I support BJU and don't have any beef with it. You will only have to follow the rules for 4 years and the rules are not meant to be lived by for the rest of your life.I am thankful for schools like BJU which are built on a biblical foundation and recommend everybody to attend BJU if you have the privilege to do so.

I am single: And I am loving it. I live on my own and I really can't complain. God has blessed me in so many unimaginable ways. The key to succes is really contentment. Breaking up with my fiance was the hardest decision I ever made in my life but it was the right one. I have learned so much ever since and I have realized how much I wasn't ready for a relationship, let alone stand marriage. Of course I don't just sit around waiting for God to drop an angel in my lap (Although I really wouldn't mind!) and so I am carefully looking without creating discontentment in my life. I still haven't met my angel yet but meanwhile I am praying for her. (And I still have one year left at BJU so I am not panicking yet :P ;) )

I am an Apple geek: I am a certified Apple technician and I love my iBook. I work fulltime as a service manager at iPlace, which is an authorized apple reseller and service provider. I basically take care of all the broken Macs that come in and fix them. I have one technician that helps me out so I wont go completely crazy. Yes this is going to be a little bit of spam but if you live near Greenville, SC and you need service for your mac please stop by at iPlace or feel free to email me with any questions: click (my work email)

More about me: If you are on facebook don't hesitate to add me to your friends list. I am also found on twitter if you want to find out more about my daily grind :P.
