Showered in Grace

I am reading in Isaiah and I wanted to share this with you since this is exactly how I feel. Isaiah is having a vision and this is what he says in Isaiah 6:
v.5 Woe is me! For I am lost; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!

This is exactly how I feel. The more I look at God by reading my Bible and listening to Sermons I see how sinful I am. But it doesn't stop there with me or Isaiah:
v.7 And he [the seraphim] touched my mouth and said: Behold, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away, and your sin atoned for.

God forgave Isaiah's sins. Just like God forgives my sins. But there is more and this is what God asks:
v.8 Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then I said, Here am I! Send me. 9 And He said, Go...

God uses sinners showered by his grace to serve him.

I noticed that giving everything to God reveals a lot of weakness in my life that I need to work on but at the same time the more faults I see in my life the bigger the shower of grace is in my life.

New Look

Well I changed my Blog from word-press to Rapidweaver. I got rapid weaver for free for doing a job for someone (he had two licenses). This is a desktop application so this helps me manage my content in a better way and I can edit stuff offline before uploading it. I don't like the fact that you have to pay for some of the extras for RapidWeaver but it is a solid program and a lot of people use it.

Anyway I enjoy learning about these things since they can come in handy when I need to build a church website etc. and it is nice to know how to work with different alternatives. Even though I have 0 HTML skills I still am familiar with building websites with programs like Wordpress, RapidWeaver and iWeb. Anyway enough geeking around.

Quote of the Week

if you give God everything you have, He will provide everything that you need

That is the statement of my life at this moment. And I am not just talking about God providing my material/physical needs. God’s provision goes beyond material things and fills in every little gap in my life that needs to be filled. God even “fills” the gaps that I thought needed to be filled but God made those gaps disappear.

God is all I need. I learned the best way to prove this statement right is to give God all that you have and He will fulfill His promises!
